INTERNAL REGULATIONS FOR PATIENTS AND VISITORS OF GINESER SC

This regulation is issued in compliance with the provisions of the OFFICIAL MEXICAN STANDARD NOM-071-SCFI-2008, COMMERCIAL PRACTICES - MEDICAL CARE BY DIRECT CHARGE and aims to promote and maintain cordial relations between all persons involved in the medical care services of Gineser SC and the patients or applicants for these services.

Income

  • For the provision of medical services, all users of Gineser SC health services must present a valid official identification at the time of registration; it may also be requested by health personnel at key moments of care, such as during the medical interview and preparation of clinical history, when signing informed consents, administering vaccines and medications, entering into a medical or surgical procedure, taking laboratory samples, referral process, patient discharge and any other process where the patient must be identified in an unquestionable manner.

 

The above obligation may be waived in urgent cases, cases of force majeure or in the case of an unconscious patient without identification; for which the rules established in the controlled document GSRSC-DM-PRO-002 PATIENT IDENTIFICATION PROCESS GINESER SC will be followed. In this document, this activity will be found as a standard goal of our quality management system; as an essential action for patient safety and the applicable legal framework.

Stay within the Gineser SC units

  • All Gineser SC healthcare users and their companions must maintain order, speak quietly, not perform actions that violate morality and good customs, and maintain and care for the furniture and facilities of Gineser SC.

 

  • In the event that the patient, his companions or family members cause damage or deterioration to the facilities of Gineser SC, they will be

responsible for payment for the repair or replacement of the damaged goods.

 

  • For reasons of safety and hygiene of our patients, the following are not permitted: medications, food, healing materials, bedding, pets, floral or fruit arrangements and any type of weapons.

  • The introduction and consumption of alcoholic beverages or toxic substances in the facilities of Gineser SC is prohibited. Anyone caught will have to leave, subjecting their entry to conditions and notifying the corresponding authority when applicable.

  • Only people who have a relationship with Gineser SC may provide medical care services within the facilities. These service providers have identification issued by Gineser SC and signed by the health officer of each unit.

  • Family members and companions of patients must remain in common areas and the waiting room. They are strictly prohibited from entering the surgical units, including the preparation or preoperative and recovery areas, unless they are recovering in a private room.

  • Gineser SC is not responsible for payment or replacement for the loss, misplacement or damage to your personal items.

  • In the event of undergoing a medical procedure in one of our outpatient major surgery units, the patient, after taking inventory, may use lockers and/or storage areas for items that require special attention, such as glasses, dentures, hearing aids, cell phones, computers, earrings, among others.

  • Only one person may stay with the patient overnight. If your patient requires the stay of 2 people for their care, they must have a medical indication.

  • If the patient is a minor, both parents are allowed to be present at night.

  • Food is part of a patient's recovery; it is subject to medical advice, both in terms of time and characteristics, so the patient should not eat or drink anything other than what is prescribed by their treating physician.

Likewise, in order to guarantee the privacy of all our patients and collaborators, video recording is prohibited.

Discharge from Gineser SC units

  • The patient's discharge will be carried out as indicated by the attending physician.

 

  • If the patient wishes to leave the hospital voluntarily, even against medical advice, he/she must duly sign the corresponding paperwork. If the patient needs an ambulance for his/her transfer, he/she must cover the cost directly with the service provider.

 

  • Prior to discharge, the patient or his/her responsible family member must make all payments corresponding to his/her medical care, in national currency and with the accepted means of payment. In the case of monthly payments without interest, they will only be accepted with participating banks and cards, according to the terms and conditions published on the website gineser.mx.
